Situated on level 33 of The Shard, Hutong serves the fascinating and diverse cuisines of Northern China and is based on the much-loved restaurant of the same name in Hong Kong. Hutong's cuisine takes its inspiration from the dishes served in the imperial palaces of what was then Peking. Based on the 'Lu school' cuisine of Shandong Province, the menu artfully captures the subtlety and surprises of Northern Chinese cooking. A cocktail selection inspired by ingredients used in traditional Chinese medicine and stunning interior, complete with traditional Chinese red lanterns and beautiful hand-carved wood-panelled 'Moon Gates', offer London diners a new destination restaurant with panoramic view

This industrial space is one of London’s most impressive commercial galleries. It’s famous for championing the Young British Artist movement, which includes leading artists such as Tracey Emin and Damien Hirst. And it always has really cutting-edge shows.
This is one of the biggest exhibition spaces in Europe, so the scale of the works is always impressive.

Once collectively known as the Tate Gallery, London's two Tate galleries - Tate Britain and Tate Modern - comprise one of the world's most important art collections. Opened in 1897 as the basis of a national collection of significant British art, the gallery continued to make acquisitions and needed more space to properly display its collections. The end result was the establishment of Tate Britain, in Millbank on the north side of the Thames, as home to its permanent collection of historic British paintings. A superbly transformed power station across the Thames became home to the modern art collections. Art lovers can spend a whole day viewing both sites, conveniently connected by high-spe

The club was born as a result of the UK’s acid house scene being forced from fields and warehouses into licenced inner-city venues in the ‘90s. Originally a juice bar with no alcohol for sale, it drew international players in the early and hazy days of the ’90s because of the quality of its sound system.

Ten minutes walk away, this is much less fancy than the Anchor and Hope and in some ways, more charming. The food is much cheaper but still good, British pub grub. This is how pubs should be.

Columbian families have picnics and BBQ, hipsters cycle and keep fit people jog around this haven of green in the most urban on neighbourhoods. Once a canal ran through all the way to Camberwell Road and slum dwellings and warehouses all around were razed in the late 70s to create a green space - recently revamped with millions of architectural remodelling it has turned the park into a really great place to spend a (rare) sunny day. Nice quiet cycle route into Peckham is also a boon.
