Beautiful mostly uninhabited park reserve, wild animals like capuchin and howler monkeys, iguanas and other lizards including the beautiful colorful carrobo, small indigenous deer, 2 types of toucans, humming birds , the first National park in Costa Rica. 2 hiking trail loops, a 2 hour loop and a 4 hour loop.

A beautiful wide river emptying into the sea. Fresh water at the beach! It is just gorgeous, excellent for swimming its delta near and during high tide, and wading any time all along it's length
