It has a beautiful and comprehensive collection of the Wyeth family art, as well as works by Robert Indiana (during the summer, his “EAT” work is mounted to the corner of the roof of the museum!). Climbing or driving to the top of Mount Battie gives you a fantastic view of Penobscot Bay and the nearby islands of North Haven and Vinal Haven. There are also some lovely walks and hikes within the park.
