A true garagiste winery, a wine tasting at Bemind is a must do!

A new addition to the village that somehow feels like its always been here is a music venue called At The Courtyard. As the name suggests the venue is located in a beautiful central courtyard with seating for around 100 people both in the open air and under cover. The intimate shows they put on have captured the hearts of villagers and visitors alike. With artists like Guy Buttery, Robin Auld, Basson Laubscher, PJ Powers and Arno Carstens, they have grown from strength to strength in a very short space of time. I would highly recommend going to a show while you are here or popping in for a jam session or some of Megs simple, delicious and wholesome food. They are open: Friday - from 6pm - open mic night/ jam session with cafe street food available. Saturday - 6:30pm - music event, bookings essential. Sunday - from 4pm - Sunday funday, tapas food and specials on champagne cocktails and shooters. Contact Meg on 082 445 2145 or check out their Instagram or Facebook pages for info about upcoming events. @at_the_courtyard

A new restaurant in the village, The Fat Ladies Arms. Unfussy casual dining that is absolutely delicious! I have only eaten there once as they are brand new but everyone at my table seemed very pleased, the roasted pork belly with mash was a particular favorite! They are unlicensed.
