Sightseeing
Located in Hope (8 km from downtown). The tunnels were built over 100 years ago as part of the Kettle Valley Railway. With the track officially abandoned in 1978, visitors can walk through the 4 tunnels during the months of May - October (weather pending). Allow 1-2 hours. Easy grade. If you want a bit of a challenge - loop back to the parking lot via the Hope-Nicola Valley trail.

Alexandra Bridge is 30 km north. A short easy hike takes you down to the location of the original Cariboo Wagon Road. The first bridge was built in 1861. The current bridge sits on the site of the original which was dismantled in 1912 after a flood. Limited parking is available on the left hand side of the road after you cross the Fraser River. Allow 1 - 2 hours.
