Pray, MT.
Old school dinner dining and brunch with good food. They grow many of their own vegetables in their greenhouse. The hot springs is a must! I still buy stuff in the cool gift shop. (Closed to non-guests for hot springs during pandemic, but the restaurant is open.)

This is a new lodge that has amazing views and a great happy hour or casual dinner at the Fireside Room-my preference. You can also have a nice dinner at the second building called The Grill, which has a more formal menu and seating. All wines are domestic.

Livingston, MT. A local’s favorite taco shop. Love. My go-to order is the spicy little Jack Tacos. Not Jack, our blue heeler.

It's always lively and hopping with good food, local characters, and fun music at night. Family friendly. We like to sit at the bar and order from menus from 3 different restaurants. Request all the menus if they don't give them to you. (Hours and rules keep changing during pandemic.)

Moderate one mile in and one mile out hike. Easy access, kids and old people like this trail. Very popular. If you want to continue it can be a 5 mile ascent to the top to lakes. Afterwards, stop at Pine Creek Lodge for a local beer or homemade ice cream.

Take the back way to Bozeman instead of the interstate. More beautiful coming from Bozeman to Strickland Creek Road. All gravel and can be adventurously dusty. Beautiful.
