Mayfield is an historic village. It has a gorgeous Deli and a rather lovely hotel/pub called The Middle House, which does great food. There are other independent shops there. Lovely country walks.

Traditional beach with a pier. We love The Beach Deck for outside eating on the beach. Then walk along the promenade towards the pier for some gelato. Cobbly beach. Lovely old buildings on the main beach front. Lots for the kids to do.

Our favourite place for lunch and breakfast on the beach. Opens at 8.30. Great social distancing of the tables. Highly recommend. its busy so be prepared for a little wait or get there early for some scrummy breakfast food.
