This is a beautiful mountain to drive up and walk up the many steps on a clear day! The views can't be beat, you will see much of the lake from one of the several landings at the top of the mountain.

Great place to spend a day, shopping on the square, and panning for Gold at the Goldmine. Amicalola Falls State Park is close by also! About a 70 minute drive from the Chalet, be warned that it is a curving drive!
