Favorite Fancy Dinner Spots
These are some of my favorites. Keep in mind it is Aspen and these places are definitely pricey. I always prefer to sit at the bar. a number of these places offer bar menus.

High end, special night out. I prefer sitting at the bar if you have 2 to 3 people in your group. French food, but also have amazing pasta. The bar later in the night is a definite scene

Very romantic, candle lite, cozy. Great for a date night or on a snowy night. The specialties are raclette, fondue & sweet & savory crêpes.

Sister restaurant to the famous Nobu. Beware this place is always busy. My favorite is the crispy spicy tuna roll. But everything is great.

Great vibe and superb food in this tiny restaurant. Focus on locally foraged dishes, sexy/ chic interior. Owner/ chef Barclay Dodge is one of my favorite. Strict cancellation policy.

Fun bar menu. Mainly Italian/ American inspired food. Excellent wine list. Owner Jill is a blast. Tuna tacos and the artichoke bruschetta are among my favorites.

It is so fun and cozy. Brand new restaurant in town. The entire staff is from Germany. The presentation is fabulous and the ambiance feels like you are in Germany. The restaurant is very tiny, they do have a big community table that you can sit with a large group.

Just 3 short blocks away. I have left a city market savers card in the entrance top drawer. Cloth bags are in the closet as plastic bags are banned in Aspen.

Local Brew Pub. Beer is brewed in Aspen near the airport. They have food (mostly pizza here). More of a casual vibe. They just redid the interior. Good TV's.

Fun spot for lunch (and some rose). Especially if it is sunny and warm, you can sit on the deck and watch the skiers. For sure order the truffle fries. (Fun for Apres too)
