Gorgeous Gothic style university campus in the centre of the West End. Visit the Hunterian Museum , which hosts different exhibitions throughout the year. If you are adventurous make an appointment for the university's anatomy museum, which hosts original specimens down to the Georgian era of William Hunter. For the easy sightseer, it is a lovely walk around Professor's Square (find the unicorn and lion!), the Quandrangles, cloisters and main tower.

Very underrated Victorian garden cemetery adjacent to Glasgow Cathedral. Lovely walk around the tombstones, all of which are uniquely designed and stand out in their own right aesthetically. A peaceful walk away from the bustle and hustle of the city, and best still offers gorgeous views (including sunset!) of the city!

Parks & Nature
*note erroneous pin on Airbnb maps - see directions below* Walk along the lovely river on the Kelvin Walkway, which connects the Botanical Gardens to Kelvinbridge and all the way to Kelvingrove Park. Enter from the north side either via the Botanics itself or entrances along Kelvin Way, head down the southeast path that leads you by ruins of an old paper mill (converted into ammunication production for a while!) and then a lovely pub called Inn-deep along the way. Continue onwards until you enter Kelvingrove Park with Kelvingrove Museum right on the other end.

A really gorgeous garden in the West End with numerous greenhouses housing exotic flora. The lawns, herb gardens and flower gardens make for a beautiful walk. Also many benches to sit and watch the world go by. Hint: Try to find the old disused train station!

I love this place... a mecca from train lovers! Features numerous real and replicas of trains and buses that have plied the railroads and streets of Glasgow since the Victorian times. Check out the replica Victorian era street for an immersive experience as an inhabitant of Victorian Glasgow, and also explore the ship right out on the River Clyde!
