Santarella, affectionately known as the Tyringham Gingerbread House, is a truly unique and beautiful setting, a magical place where you can make your dreams come true. Built in 1739 and later transformed by Sir Henry Hudson Kitson, an English sculptor during the last 25 years of his life. This project consumed the remains of his earnings and he died a penniless man in 1947. Nowadays this house is used for weddings and upscale vacation rental. Nonetheless, it is worthwhile the drive to see it from the roadside.
