It is also possible to get a tour of the castle and learn about its history, as well as to dine, either in the Blue Dining Room at the Manor, in the Greenhouse restaurant, or at the Home Farm. The famous Rose Garden is also beautiful to experience, and it is possible to walk for hourse on the Baronys enormous property. Throughout the summer, the Barony will also be hosting several different theatrical plays and musicians.

The gallery "Gallery G Guddal" is beautifully located in an old fashioned farm in Guddal Valley, with authentic wooden buildings and antique interior. Here it is also possible to have a snack and take amazing landscape pictures. A must if you have an eye for art or the national romantic Norway! The gallery is a 10 minute drive away.

For those who are up for tougher walks, it is possible to hike to the Muradal and the Myrdal Valley, as well as to climb the local mountains, Skålafjell of 290 MASL being the easiest with Skjethaug as the first pitstop, followed by the more challenging Malmangernuten of 890 MASL, and if you're really up for a challenge, you could climb Melderskin, which towers 1426 meters above sea level.
