Northampton. Can't say enough about this place. I love their food. Small, family owned Moroccan restaurant with beautiful Moroccan pottery decorating the walls. Menu is huge, with soups, stews, salads, meat, fish, chicken, vegetarian, crepes, desserts.
My go-to dish is the Mosaic Salad with Trout. Mm...

Terrific 300 degree view of the Pioneer Valley from a wrap around balcony attached to the former (1900's) Summit House hotel. Can hike up to the summit, or drive and park. Sometimes you can spot an eagle. Summit House also offers a summertime music series.

Lovely, quiet spot just down the road from us. Can walk the 1.6 level miles or take easy climb from parking to the top. Lovely (210 degree) views of Amherst area, including the University. Nice spot for a picnic lunch, watching the sunset, or just reading a book.

Paved, mostly level bike/skate/walk/hike trail from Belchertown to Northampton and beyond. In wooded areas with streams, ponds, beaver dams, birds, and field views.
Unwritten practice that bikers warn you before passing on your left. Amazing.
