Guidebook for Cole Harbour

Food Scene
We love this place! It's recently been renovated and features a cozy area in the front of the restaurant with couches for lounging, a bar and many rustic wooden tables. Their dinner menu features seafood and they have a great beef tenderloin Sunday dinner. The busiest time is dinner time, but you don't need a reservation. They feature something each night of the week so check out their website. http://jamiesons.ca/Jamiesons/Special_Events.html

The best croissants and coffee in town. You may want to share your croissant because of it's size, but you won't be judged if you keep it to yourself. There are croissants of the day with flavours ranging from sweet to savoury. Grab yourself an I <3 Dartmouth T-shirt while you are there!

If you'd like to experience a lively, local, friendly, music-filled afternoon or evening, this is the place you want to be. Located right on the waterfront in a Historic Property you can sit outside and people watch on the waterfront or take a seat on a wooden bench. Live bands feature local musicians playing original and cover music. There are always plenty of people singing along and drinking lots of beer stiens of Keith's.

Beautiful sandy beach with washrooms/changerooms and outdoor showers. You take a nice boardwalk out to the beach; it's a nice place to hang out for the day. You can even find yoga classes being taught on the beach. Gates close at 8 pm, but you can park on Cow Bay Road for after hours access, but expect a bit of a walk.

Spanning from Cole Harbour to Lawrencetown, this old railway track has been turned into a beautiful stone hiking trail. It will take you right through the middle of the harbour with beautiful views of Cole Harbour. Great for bikes and walkers alike. Keep an eye out for wildlife; we've spotted eagles flying above.
