Shopping
High Street is one of the places with the newest restaurants, and shopping malls, here in Metro Manila. There are plenty lights, trees, to have a leisurely walk. It's a nicer side of the Metro.

Boni High has everything, a walk, park, shops and all kinds of restaurants. It provides an entertaining walk for curious shoppers and diners. The place is cool, spacious, safe, not much parking problem and accessible from Makati , Mand., Pasig, Pateros and South Super Highway. No vendors, nice urban crowd and perfect for a short stroll.

A shopping mall that is a great place to visit. Full of small variety shops, a department store, eateries, kids activities, it is well-known for cheaper prices. Just outside is a market where you can buy flowers and vegetables. Enjoyable!

This speakeasy bar is indeed a classy place with right music, elegant settings and lovely ambiance overall. But hey drinks are great too. Long Island Ice Tea was rightly balanced with potency that makes this cocktail so popular the world over.

Arts & Culture
The American Cemetery is a most do for American visitors to Manila. It is a Washington DC quality memorial to the brave Filipino and American soldiers who fought in WWII. The Philippines campaign is a much overlooked part of WWII history, and this memorial (and a trip to Corregidor if you can manage) will firmly implant a sense of the importance and scale of the war in the Philippines. Don't miss the wall mosaics that display the whole history of the Pacific War with the detail of the old Life magazine maps that I grew up with. The cemetery is also probably the most pleasant green space in all of Manila. No pets, no picnics, no bikes, no running or exercise due to the solemn nature of the

Parks & Nature
It's refreshing to have greens and a small little garden in the middle of a busy commercial centre. This place is being frequented by lots of workers from the BPO sector when they are on breaks. It is also a place where many of the people living in BGC area go for a little sweat out.

Entertainment & Activities
This is a must go place for kids from 4 to 12 years. I would say Manila is lucky that Kidzania came in to Manila as their 20th branch. Kids enjoyed role playing and it teaches them the values of loving their jobs, and that each one got a role to play. In this age that us adults are competitive that we want to be on top or ahead of everyone else, it is a refreshing experience to just watch how the kids just do their job and feeling rewarded and having to have achieved something by doing their part. It is refreshing to see that kids are quite happy to receive what was due to them and enjot their products (for those which had foods such as ice cream, hotdog, cookies, pizza and cheese curls).

The concept of letting a parent/guardian inside the place without extra charge is so convenient. Other free inclusions are locker for your shoes & drinking water. There were lots of seats & comfortable couches for the parents to stay while looking out for their kids. There is free wifi at uptown mall so if you got tired of following your kids & taking pictures, you can relax in one of their comfy seats. Many areas and different kinds of toys to choose from that will suit your kid's age. My nephew who is turning 7 loved the inflatable slide and the cyber wheel. The 90 minute package is value for money. Don't forget to bring socks for kids & parents as well. They sell socks for P30.
