The town is also very friendly, safe and clean with small shopping malls, supermarkets, and all necessary amenities close. Also your pets will be taken care of by the many veterinarians available.
I recommend doing Moravia Shopping. Also in November 2012 Lincoln Plaza, a big mall of 34.000 m2 was inaugurated. This six-level mall has 200 stores, has 7 restaurants, for cafeterias, a food court with 14 restaurants and also 7 cinemas. This mall is revolutionizing all surrounding with new infrastructure and also loads of wonderful amenities.

There are good private schools in Moravia. The most important ones are, Saint Anthony and Saint Francis, offering Pre-school, Primary and Secondary.

Home to 150 mammals, 6,000 species of plants and miles of trails with varying elevation, Braulio is one of the most magnificent parks in Costa Rica. Visitors can trek to the stunning San Fernando waterfall and the Barva Volcano, an inactive volcano that reaches the highest peak in the park

A major eruption hasn't taken place since March 19, 1963, although the surrounding land is pleasantly affected by the volcanic action. The stunning yellow-green waters of the lake at Diego de la Haya Crater are caused by rainfall that dissolves the minerals along the crater walls, but this lake isn't suitable for swimming.

Avoid driving or travelling a lot on Saturdays
Most foreigners doesn't know that all Saturdays have a heavy load of traffic, that starts at 9 am. in the morning. This day is used by most families to go for shopping and travel for other reasons. You will be amazed of how big is the difference on the road traffic from a Saturday to other week days. The closes one on being busy is after 3 pm on Fridays, when most people end their shift, mostly from the government and public institutions. When leaving from Guadalupe or Moravia to other parts of the country is advisable to plan ahead how to find alternative routes, using Waze or Google Maps.

When a stranger knocks the door outside, Costa Rican's slang
In Costa Rica there is an unusual way of announcing oneself at a home or any type of private space, even an office. It is customary to knock and say “upe.” The purpose of this pronouncement is to elicit a response like someone coming to the door or perhaps saying “pase adelante,” come on in.
Many people are unaware of the origin of this expression. I have even seen language articles claiming nobody knows for certain the source or the meaning.
Upe comes from Nicoya, Guanacaste where people would make themselves known as benevolent visitors by saying “Nuestra Señorita (Señor
