Parks & Nature
One of my favorite places, the Southern half of Plum Island is a 5 mile long barrier beach and National Wildlife Refuge which is one of the top birding spots in the country. The Eastern side of the refuge is the ocean & sandy beaches while the Western side is a fresh water Estuary with hiking trails. Lots of amazing views & wildlife. The Northern side of the island has more public beaches.
