This a list of some of my favorite restaurants around the neighborhood, as well as some suggestions for some celebrated restaurants in the city.
(2 km) One of my all-time favorites. La Placita's trademark sirloin tacos have a very unique flavor. Grilled with mesquite wood and seasoned with the restaurant's own recipe, fresh hand-made corn and flour tortillas, and exquisite salsas will please the most demanding foodies.
This is the only restaurant that has huitlacoche quesadillas in the city (that I know of). I highly recommend this spot!
Es uno de mis restaurantes favoritos. Tacos de sirloin con un sabor ahumado y asado al carbón con su receta única además de exquisitas salsas. Uno de los pocos lugares que tiene quesadillas de huitlacoche en Torreón. Altamente recomendable.
La Placita

Every taco is served on hand-made corn or flour tortillas. The menu includes flautones, green and red enchiladas, tostadas, and other assorted Mexican favorites.
A must visit for any foodie exploring the culinary scene in the city.

(7.6 km) One of the most celebrated and beautiful theaters in the city, TIM is great for music concerts, plays, stand-up and other events that are held in this venue. The building itself is worth seeing. It is located a few steps away from the City Hall and right in the heart of the city's downtown area, where you will find bars, restaurants, eateries, and a busy nightlife around the area.

(9.1 km) Siendo un ícono de la ciudad, porqué no darse una vuelta. La logística de la visita se ha refinado y es muy conveniente llegar. Solamente no lo recomiendo en festivos religiosos ya que hay gran concurrencia en la capilla y eso puede no ser una buena experiencia.
