Parks & Nature

Beautiful wildflower displays and high views at summit. Take your camera! To find that trail, from the house, turn right on Hwy 140 (4 mile), then left to Highway 49 (11 miles), turn left onto Bear Valley Rd (3.3 miles) . Turn right on Hunters Valley Mountain road in 2.4 miles Park when you see the road split with a metal gate on the left branch. You can then walk up the trail. Do not climb the abandoned fire tower at the summit if it is still there after the fires we just had. Too rickety.
