Easy to Moderate 3.5 mile out and back hike to Lily Pad Lake. This trail starts just north of Frisco about a 15 minute drive from the condo. The first lake you come to is not actually Lily Pad Lake, go another 100 yards up the right side of the first lake for the true Lily Pad Lake. I consider this one of the best hikes in the area unless you want to go 8-12 miles for ½ day. The trailhead parking fills fast, I recommend going early.

Rafting the Browns Canyon. I had a great experience doing a 3 hour raft trip with American Adventure Expedition . Although there are plenty of companies to choose from. They also do combination packages like raft and hot springs. Their prices are different this year because of COVID – private trips only. Rafting Browns Canyon is a blast. Once you are done rafting a soak in Mt Princeton Hot Springs is a perfect end to the day, or to keep the adventure going, drive past Mt Princeton 20ish minutes up Chalk Canyon to St Elmo – one of the few remaining authentic ghost towns – be sure to feed the chipmunks.

At the top of the hill is Lake Dillon Bike Rental – there are several Bike Rentals in the area however. Take out a rental and bike to Frisco, and if you are feeling ambitious on to Breckenridge. From Frisco to Breck is a steady 9 mile uphill grade – but it is a blast coming down! If you make it to Breck and don’t have the energy to make it back, the summit bus service can offer you a free ride with a bike rack in front of the bus. Some of the Frisco bike rentals will bus you to the top of Vail pass – you coast down to Frisco with great views.
