This park was the very first to be established in the Canadian Southern Gulf Islands and boasts many easy hiking/walking trails that are well-maintained, all skirting the Grey Peninsula which juts out into Montague Harbour, one of the earliest safe and well sheltered-from-weather harbours for boats. At low tide it is possible to circumnavigate the Grey Peninsula right along the natural shoreline and see lots of wildlife.

550 Montague Park RdThis park was the very first to be established in the Canadian Southern Gulf Islands and boasts many easy hiking/walking trails that are well-maintained, all skirting the Grey Peninsula which juts out into Montague Harbour, one of the earliest safe and well sheltered-from-weather harbours for boats. At low tide it is possible to circumnavigate the Grey Peninsula right along the natural shoreline and see lots of wildlife.
