Sedona is one of my new favorite places to eat whenever I'm in downtown fredericksburg. They have great service but most import their food is greatly executed with the freshest ingredients and great flavor. The prince Edward Mussels have to be one of the best mussels in town with the right amount of garlic, wine, and butter and spices creating a revolution of flavors. Also their French Quarter pasta dish is another one of my favorite. Expect a long wait on the weekend but it's worth it

When restaurateur Stephen Starr armed 14th Street with a slice of pre-War Paris in spring 2013, he had an instant classic on his hands. Part brasserie, part café, part bistro, Le Diplomate runs the gamut of French cuisine. Brown butter-infused trout amandine and perfectly cooked steak au poivre—rest assured, it’s peppery—share the menu alongside chilled oysters, bakery-worthy creations, a famed roast chicken and ever-munchable pommes frites. The Scene: From haute fashions to casual designs for les femmes and a mélange of chinos, suits and jeans for les hommes, expect a laid-back yet chic vibe and high-volume chatter to fill the vast space comfortably.

Drinks & Nightlife

Up and coming artists play here. Black Cat is great at picking winners. If you want to catch bands who are on their way and see them up close in a small venue before they hit it big, try the Black Cat. Not every band makes it, but every band that plays here has the chops. If you like a great live show, and a wild venue, try Black Cat. Beware, there might be slam dancing, depending on the band. ;)
