This is the best restaurant... in terms of value for money, and a super experience. The restaurant is situated on the banks on the Crocodile River, and boasts a 180-degree view both up- and down-stream of the river, and over the Kruger Park.

The Malelane Gate is the entrance to the Kruger National Park, and is just 2 kilometers from Mlondozi Chalet. To pass some time, drive down to the the high-water bridge, at the Malelane Gate, which is over the Crocodile River, and is an ideal spot for birding and game viewing.

Make sure your vehicle is properly locked when in Malelane
There have been several incidents of "remote-jammers", who sit around in the parking areas of shopping malls in Malelane, and have a device which they activate remotely, which prevents your vehicle from locking when you leave it to go shopping.
When you get out of your vehicle, always lock your vehicle, and then test all the doors, to check if they are all locked.
Otherwise, Malelane is a wonderfully safe town, and you can shop, and walk around the malls safely.
