Parks & Nature
200m from the house, Cudmirrah Beach is a mecca for all things beachy - swimming, surfing, sandcastles, swimming, beach walks etc. There are rock pools to explore, a giant sandcastle to climb (500m north along the bach).

You can walk along the bach or drive along bush trails to the secluded Monument Beach within the Conjola National Park. If you walk along the beach (from Berrara), you will go past the mermaid pond. There is a steep part of the walk near the mermaid pond that is not so good for young children.
Monument Beach has a basic facilities such as water and a pit toilet.

The Swan Lake Inlet is only a 3 minute walk from the Swan House, and is a beautiful natural location for bird watching, fishing, stand up paddle-boarding, swimming, and exploring. About once every couple of years the inlet opens up to the sea.
