Great old fashioned breakfasts. Excellent quality, inexpensive (for Napa!) and things like real maple syrup. They also know what the term “crispy bacon” means too! Insiders tip, if the wait is long go right next door to the bar. Owned by the same people and you can have breakfast there. Never a wait.

The Fink

Local vintner Judd Finkelstein always wanted a cocktail after a day of wine so he decided to just open up his own bar. Great cocktails inspired from around the world and some small bites of you need to nosh. Don’t miss the warm, homemade chocolate chip cookie if it’s late and you have the munchies.

These are some of my favorite wineries, most of which do need advance reservations. It's customary to purchase wine when tasting at private wineries as this is how they survive. Some will have tasting fees that will be refunded with a purchase but make sure you inquire about their policy.

Staglin Family Vineyard

One of Napa's most iconic properties, The Staglin's year in and year out produce stunning Cabernet and for me, Napa's most lovely Chardonnay (since Napa isn't really known for great Chard). I ran Direct to Consumer Sales and their Wine Club for 3.5 years and can tell you their commitment to the quality of the wine they produce knows no bounds. Highly recommended.
