Kayaking through the Thousand Islands is an awesome tour. The guides are patient and educational. Prices are reasonable. You usually get up close and personal with manatees and dolphins. Seasonally July- Sept, they have bioluminescence tours. One of only a few places in the world to see bioluminescence is the Indian River. Kayaking is one of the best ways to experience it. Moonlit tours are nice year round.

You can take an airboat tour here and get up close to alligators while remaining in the safety of the airboat. It's a fun ride through the winding St Johns River.

Brevard Museum is a nice, museum boasts two wings of indoor exhibits and a 22-acre nature preserve backing up to the Eastern Florida State College Planetarium. From Ice Age fossils to the Space Age Hubble telescope, they have something for everyone! Brevard Museum also has a display dedicated to the Windover Archeological dig, the most significant burial complex in North America, discovered here in Brevard County, mummies were preserved in the bogs and date back to 7000 BC.
