Like the name says, this place is BIG! World-class whitewater kayaking, as well as, miles of hiking and the tallest walls to climb in the state! For hiking, we recommend the Honey Creek Loop, rated one of the best hikes in the country!

4564 Leatherwood RdLike the name says, this place is BIG! World-class whitewater kayaking, as well as, miles of hiking and the tallest walls to climb in the state! For hiking, we recommend the Honey Creek Loop, rated one of the best hikes in the country!
The "Tremont," as the locals call it, is the Middle Prong of the Little River and has some of the best fishing in the park. If you take the road to it's end, you can hike to Rainbow falls (left fork). This is one of our favorite areas in the park!

Great Smoky Mountains Institute at Tremont
