Just across the water from where you camp is Bledsoe Creek State Park. Kayak 1/3 of a mile to their boat ramp and hike the trail that runs parallel to the water or drive there. You'll see lots of animals, too.

If you didn't drive through Gallatin on your way to Come As You Are Camping, you owe it to yourself to visit it. Flowers hang from lamp posts, church bells rings on schedules, artist shops, indoor flea market, plenty of restaurants from which to choose.

Closest place for gas, drinks, cigarettes, ice, beer. Only two miles from Come As You Are Camping. In the mornings, they make biscuits and put a variety of meats inbetween - sausage, egg, bacon. Yum!
