If you're looking for a local steakhouse with all the frills of a high end big city chophouse, this is it. It also gives you a hefty pricetag to go with it. The outdoor patio on the river is the nicest in the city when the weather is up to it in April through Sept.

This is my favorite place for steaks, even if it is about a 25 min. drive to downtown Beloit to get there. Great atmosphere, good drinks, great steaks and entree options and a reasonable price for what you get(soup or salad, haystack onions, and side dish with your meal).

This is a classic Wisconsin Supperclub. You can get a famous brandy old fashioned, a good steak and all the added items such as baked french onion soup, bread basket, etc. It overlooks Lake Koshkenong, so sitting outdoors in the summer can be fun. They also do outdoor lobster boils in the summer.

This is one of two upscale restaurants in Janesville. Drafthouse has a great modern decor with lots of seating at a center positioned bar. The menu has something for everyone and all items I've tasted are delicious. Cocktails lean toward the weak side, but are tasty non the less.
