Backyard / Bottled Blond is a large, diverse outdoor / indoor bar scene. Great for day drinking and night time adventures, it's hard not to have a good time with friends at either side of this complex located on the edge of Deep Ellum. The downtown views on the Bottled side are a plus.

Parliament is still to this day our favorite Happy Hour spot in town.
Located in the State & Thomas part of Uptown, Parliament has great craft cocktails that are criminally cheap during HH (M- Saturday 5-8 PM and all day when it rains). Space is on the tighter side, but well worth it.

E Bar is a very popular standalone Tex Mex restaurant, located less than block from Brownstone. Even after its expansion, the lines form early. The food is great and the meltdown margaritas are a must! Walk over early, because they don't take reservations.
