Great Mexican food. They're so cool that they don't take reservations. So bring your patience and expect a wait. But sometimes the wait time isn't much.

A nice little "hole in the wall" restaurant that seems like it's been in business in Tarzana forever! The bread knots are amazing. Then everything else is just classic, yummy Italian. Nothing fancy, but the basics are tasty.

Things to do with kids

Not in Tarzana, but worth the drive if you want a farm experience that's extra fun for the kids. Your kids can feed various farm animals, watch a show, go on rides, and pick the seasonal crops. We did the strawberry picking and it was amazing! The pumpkin harvest festival is also fun. Check out their website!
