The best things about the Pizza Factory: It's close by (about 10 mins down the hill) and on Tuesday evenings there's usually very good local live music.

Our favorite hikes.
Chilnualna Falls (means leaping waters) in Southern Yosemite (8.4 miles round trip with 2,300 ft. elevation gain): Trail features 3 waterfalls and access to the creek along the trail. The trail goes through a majestic wilderness with varied terrain...the falls and creek are exquisite! Much less crowded than the hikes in Yosemite Valley.
About an hour and 10-minute drive from the house. Once you get to the park entrance, drive 5 miles (you'll pass the hotel and store and cross the bridge over the South Fork of the Merced River). Then turn right on Chilnualna Falls Road. It'll be the first right after the bridge, about a hundred meters north of it. Once you're on Chilnualna Falls Road, go just over 1.5 miles to the trailhead parking lot, which will be on your right, across the road from the trail head.
