This is an iconic Sacramento establishment, that's been featured in the Best Motion Picture film "Ladybird" (albeit for about 2 seconds). Their ice cream and sorbet are always house-made, and anyone that visits Gunther's should try the 50-50 Freeze!

You can find just about anything you need especially produce from local farmers. Their hot foods are affordable, delicious, and frequently sell out, so consider calling ahead if you have something in mind! Mr. Yamamoto, a former restaurant owner and disciple of the famous Shige-san, makes delicious and affordable sushi with quality ingredients. Everyone here is friendly, but the store has old-people hours. Unfortunately, they do not accept EBT at this time.
