Mulberry Garden is hidden down Mulberry Lane in Donnybrook. It is situated in the grounds of an old cottage dating from 1911. They opened our doors as Mulberry Garden in 2011. However previous to them the restaurant enjoyed life as the infamous Ernie’s and they are honoured to be able to continue the tradition of fine food and fond memories in this beautiful and unique space in the heart of Dublin 4. Mulberry Garden is very proud of our little island and are passionate about using all things Irish. From the moment you walk through the door you are surrounded by Ireland. The walls are adorned with Irish wool, paintings by Irish artists and quotes from the great Oscar Wilde. The tables are dressed in Irish linen, Newbridge silver cutlery, native wooden bread boards, Irish Atlantic sea salt and Donegal rapeseed oil. The water they serve is Irish, even the hand soaps and lotions in the bathrooms are Irish. So, of course, the chefs are fervent about using Irish ingredients. Every other week they bring you a different menu using only ingredients that are in season. They work with the best local farmers, butchers, fishermen and artisan producers to bring you an exciting and unique menu which celebrates the delicious and wonderful food heritage of Ireland. Bain taitneamh as an bia 's an craic!
