If you're looking for dessert, this is the place to go! They have dozens of fresh baked (to die for!) cookies! Their specialty is cookie ice cream sandwiches - made with local Molly Moon's ice cream.

Best tacos in town (and we're both native Californians, so we have high standards)! We recommend the house tacos :) There are two other locations: Queen Anne and Central District. This location is where we went on our first date!

One of our favorite places! Perfect for a walk or run or sit. The loop around the lake is 2.8 miles. You'll often see people hammocking or on the water during the summer. In the fields you can join a pick up volleyball or spike ball game. There's something for everyone here!

This is the closest "big" park to us! There is a great running loop, picnics areas and a playground. On a nice day you might catch a glimpse of Mount Rainier!

This is quite a drive, but it one of the most beautiful (and not too difficult hikes) hikes we've done! We also approve of its namesake :)

One of the more popular hikes just outside of Seattle! It's intermediate difficulty, and has quite a rewarding view! People enjoy this hike because its proximity to Seattle.

If you want to get out to the Olympic Peninsula, Hurricane Ridge is a great destination! There are tons of trails in this area, and you can make the trip out here in one day. You will need a pass to enter the Olympic National Park (you can purchase this at the entrance to the park).

There are big, grassy fields for picnicing or tossing a football around. Stand on Kite Hill and snap some priceless photos - but bring a coat, they call it Kite Hill for a reason!

There are big, grassy fields for picnicing or tossing a football around. Stand on Kite Hill and snap some priceless photos - but bring a coat, they call it Kite Hill for a reason!
