A unique variety of fired pizzas like Rueben, which is my favorite! A great selection of their handcrafted beer. You can sit inside or they have a brand new covered outdoor deck located just across the street from the Antique Boat Museum.

This is a very popular place to sit and watch all the activities on the water and a great place to jump in the water to cool off. There are Adirondack chairs in the sun and many benches in the shade under the pavilion.

Visiting this little town is like stepping back in time. Beautiful Victorian homes line the streets with big open porches. You will see more golf carts and bicycles than automobiles. There is a beautiful pavilion overlooking the St Lawrence River, a restaurant located in the old Thousand Island Park Hotel, and a brand new eatery/ice cream shop with large decks overlooking the park.

There is a beautiful pavilion overlooking the St Lawrence River, a restaurant located in the old Thousand Island Park Hotel, and a brand new eatery/ice cream shop with large decks overlooking the park.
A beautiful one mile walk across the Thousand Island Bridge connecting Wellesley Island to the mainland. As you are headed towards the bridge there is a parking lot just to the right of the toll booth. There is no charge to walk across the bridge. After you park you walk under the bridge to access the trail to the walkway.

A small local grocery store located in the Village of Clayton on State Street is just a half mile away from the cottage. For a small grocery store they have a large variety of food. In the summer months it can be busy.

A fun hardware store with something for everyone ranging from hardware supplies, paint, plumbing, electrical to furniture, tasteful River décor, small kitchen appliances. All employees are friendly and helpful. The store is locally owned and has been run by the family for many years. It is also conveniently located downtown Clayton just across the street from the village docks. They do deliver furniture to the islands and mainland.
