If you are up to driving a bit (about 45 minutes), you need to visit the seafood capital of South Carolina, Murrell's Inlet, and eat at Lee's Inlet Kitchen. This place has been in the same location since 1948 and you will not be disappointed. And the marshwalk along Murrell's Inlet is a great place to view the beautiful inlet waters.
