Right across West Acton station, 5 minutes walk from the flat, you have access to an ATM, a couple of local mini markets, a pharmacy and also some pretty good sushi and sake in Yo-Yo Kitchen. Walking towards the North Ealing Station through Queens Drive road offers a fantastic walk. You get to see Hanger Hill Garden Estate and within 10-15 minutes from the flat, you can also find Greystoke (a local pub), 11 Cafe next to Zeera, and the Shell gas station which also has a Waitrose supermarket.

Ealing Broadway is just 1 stop away using the Central Line from West Acton or just 20 mins walk away if you feel like exploring the area. It may not look like much at first but Ealing Broadway has some amazing hidden gems that really rank top in London. So, besides quite a few pubs and restaurants you can find at the very centre surrounding the shopping mall, you also have the option to go to Dickens Yard which is right across the street from the mall by the side of the old church. Dickens Yard is a new development and hosts some pretty prestigious restaurants and shops. Some I'd definitely recommend are Charlotte's W5 coffee and restaurant, No 17 Dickens Yard again a great all rounder and GAIL's bakery. More gems in my own guide that you'll find in your rooms in the flat :)

For all of you that want to enjoy a super shopping spree, just 3 stops away lies Westfield, one of London's largest malls. Westfield literally has everything. From every single brand that you can imagine to amazing restaurants and places to have a drink or breakfast. It's a vast paradise of shopping that facilitates everything you can practically find in London in one place. Definitely worth visiting if you have a day to spare but make sure to put on your sports shoes because there's going to be a lot of walking involved :)

Beautiful place to relax any time any day. If the weather allows it you can sit outside for a coffee, drink or some classic English cuisine. Inside the space is very elegant and great for both friends and family.

Soane’s Kitchen is an elegant, bright, airy, beautifully situated space promising breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner, all of which, the menu promises, are so seasonally sensitive and ethically sourced that one ascends spiritually to a higher plane merely by eating its beans on toast. Sorry – its homemade, bloody mary-flavoured beans on Hedone sourdough, topped with a Breckland Brown egg squeezed from the hind portions of an ecstatic Norfolk free-range chicken.

Run by Neapoletan Italians the Italian way, this strictly speaking pizzeria, which is a restaurant only for Italian pizzas, is the real thing, with the traditional wood oven baking pizzas the Italian way, and I could not stress enough the word Italian...
