Latchi harbour is known for its boat trips to the Blue Lagoon. A 3 hour cruise on the Queen Latchi is fantastic value for money, it ancours at the Blue Lagoon, where you can swim in beautiful crystal clear surroundings.

Sightseeing

40 minutes away, off the highway, Kourion Amphitheatre and archeological site is definitely worth a visit. The scenery is stunning and below features a lovely stretch of beach and restaurants we always enjoy.

Troodos Mountain is a great place to cool off. On the way to the peak is Platres, which is a lovely location for lunch and has Sparti Rope Park. This is great fun for adults as there are various levels of difficulty. Kakopetria is an old quaint village worth visiting too. You can also find the Caledonia Waterfalls walk half way up Troodos, with its ice cold small melt water pool at the bottom.

Agios Neophytos Monastery is a lovely tranquil place to visit, set in the hills of Tala and just 5 minutes away. Here you can soak up a little history, visit the restaurant or the fantastic shop selling traditional Cypriot natural food products.

Agios Neophytos Monastery is a lovely tranquil place to visit, set in the hills of Tala and just 5 minutes away. Here you can soak up a little history, visit the restaurant or the fantastic shop selling traditional Cypriot natural food products.
Avakas Gorge is located at the start of the Akamas Peninsula and is a great shaded walk with lovely views. It has walls up to 30 meters high and depending on the time of year has water running through it. Surfaces can be a little slippery so trainers are advisable. Near the gorge is Viklari (The Last Castle) restaurant. They serve seriously good traditional Cypriot soulva (pork or chicken cooked on rotating skewers) and has stunning views.
