This a fantastic Australian brunch and coffee place right across the street, at the corner of 9th and 25th (after existing the apartment, cross the street, turn right, and it will be at the street corner on the left).

Amazing Cuban Chinese restaurant! Just around the corner. Slightly pricey, but a delicious and unique blend of Cuban and Chinese cuisines reminiscent of the historical Chinese neighborhood of Cuba, Calle Dao.

One of only a handful in the world, this brand new Starbucks Reserve location is truly epic. You have to see it to realize it is nothing like what you would expect of a Starbucks.

Sightseeing
This might be my favorite spot in NYC. A railroad track converted into a long, raised urban park, the High Line runs right by my apartment above 10th Ave. The nearest entrances are at 23rd St. (elevator access) and 26th St. (stairs only).
Simply gorgeous, one of a kind, and spectacular views of the city. Also a good place to sit and relax with takeout or coffee. A different experience altogether by day vs. night, as well as each season.
