At the end of Satun Thani Road across Buri Wa Nich Road, there is an elegant tower with high gear golden dome decorated with gold mirror from Italy. It is the Mum Bang Mosque, the central mosque in Satun province. It was built since the first governor and later rebuilt into modern architecture. His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej had come to open on September 20th, 1982. The inner hall is used for a prayer room inside. The basement and ground floor has a meeting room and a library. This mosque is also used for worship and embodied the spirit of Thai Muslims.

Koh Tarutao In the Phante Malaka Bay on the island's western side is the harbour that acts as its welcome gate.Tourist services, bungalows, restaurants, camp sites, the Tarutao shrine and statue of King Rama V are all located in this area. The smooth white-sand beach runs for about 2 km with rows of pine trees providing shade. Talo Wao Bay lies on the island's eastern side and offers the most stunning views of the sunrise. There is a long bridge where boats tie up, and reconstructions of prison buildings that once their captives here and an historical trail to take you back to the island's past.

Adventure

Taking a kayak down the Wangsaithong rapids and following the water course in Manang district is a soft adventure activity that is very popular with tourists.
Rafting at Wangsaithong is a soft core activity when compared to white water rafting or rafting in the north of Thailand. The more leisurely waters of Khlong Lam Lone average about only about a meter in depth with just a few sections of deeper water and rapids where the water flows more rapidly through the rocks. So overall, it’s a very relaxing experience, like taking a ride to look at the nature. The water is crystal clear and you can easily spot any rocks below the surface, with thick forest standing tall on both banks. Those with no kayaking experience can safely take on the rapids because the tour guides will insist that life jackets and safety helmets are worn
