A must for breakfast! Down home cooking and the coffee never runs out. We love the skillet or Huevos. The gift shop is no doubt the best in Pagosa and kind of a hidden gem.

Walk out the back door and up the hill. You will see the Baking Company across Hwy 160. On Wednesdays they serve Thai food and the Spring Rolls are great. I also love the chocolate chip, cranberry cookies! From Muffins to pies they have the best and a full breakfast/lunch menu.

Great hardy breakfast. Usually very busy, expect a little wait. The food comes out fast. Not open for dinner. Try the green chili.

Great beer and general bar menu. Try the JCB burger (Jalapeno, Cream Cheese Burger). You can sit outside on the patio and enjoy the river in the summer. They often have live bands and they will begin brewing the beer at this location soon!

The World's deepest mineral hot springs! They have pools for everyone and adult only pools as well. They recently added a poolside restaurant too. It is pricey but worth the visit...especially at night during the holidays. The lights and steam set a perfect tone.

This is a local favorite. Not as pricy but still has the mineral waters and is very relaxing and quiet. Not nearly as fancy but way less people and noise. They serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. It's located on Main Street in a historic building.

Entertainment

Head down Hermosa Street to your left and you will find Escape Zone right next to Mountain Pizza. This is a fun activity to challenge your brain and figure out clues to get out of the room. There are numerous themed Rooms and the last one we did was call, "Lost Shaker of Salt." Antonette is a great hostess!

Great plays run all year. Some local actors but many are pursuing acting careers and do a stint at our little theatre.

Déplacements

July 4th Week

If you are planning on visiting us on 7/4 make sure you plan ample time to wait. Our house is located near town park and actually on the parade route! You can watch the parade from the front porch. Our little town will be busting at the seams and we often have traffic back ups, grocery shortages and cell tower overload. It is all worth it if you know ahead.
Que faut-il apporter?

Sunscreen!

Our elevation is high and people often come here and hang out in the river a bit and don't realize the altitude...Wear sunscreen anytime you are outdoors any time of year.
Que faut-il apporter?

Water

Avoid altitude sickness and make sure you are drinking plenty of water on your get away. This is very important if you are enjoying the hot springs as well.
