This place has good BBQ and is right on the corner of our street and the access road.
A good landmark when driving up the mountain.
Also handy in case of a big snowstorm - somone in your group may attempt to come up an a corvette with bald tires ... so they can park here and catch a ride from someone who can handle the snow better. It's a pretty easy road - but not all cars/drivers are created equal.
