This is a lovely waterfall and pond that you can swim in. There is a trail that you can follow up the hill. Areas are rooted off for safety. There is a supervised parking lot and bathroom. The location is near Bagaces just off the Highway.

This is a lovely waterfall and pond that you can swim in. There is a trail that you can follow up the hill. Areas are rooted off for safety. There is a supervised parking lot and bathroom. The location is near Bagaces just off the Highway.
They have a number of activities that you can choose from including rafting, horseback riding, zip line, mud bath, butterfly area and lovely gardens. A great way to spend a day!

Near the marina and the Allegro Papagayo property is a parking lot where you can catch a free van ride to several beaches. This year we went to Playa Nascascolo which is close to the van stop and a short walk to the beach (no stairs to speak of). We saw several Koatis and Capuchin monkeys. The latter are a nuisance. They got into our bags and dropped items into the beach. Fortunately we did not bring food. They will steal anything edible. The beach is great and snorkeling is half decent on the south side.

Papagayo Peninsula
