Tekdi Ganapati temple is one of the most ancient and popular temples of Nagpur.this is one of the ganpati comes in Ashtavinayak (vidharbha) Located very near the Nagpur railway station’s main gate, 5km from our residence. Since it is constructed on a hill and in Marathi Language a hill is called as a “Tekdi”, it is called as Tekdi Ganapati.

भारत एक प्राचीनतम सभ्यता वाला सांस्कृतिक देश हैं। यहां कई ऐसे मंदिर हैं, जो सैकड़ों वर्षों पुराने है, उन्हीं में से एक है भगवान राम का ये मंदिर।
महाराष्ट्र के नागपुर से करीबन 40 किलोमीटर दूर स्थित रामटेक मंदिर प्रभु राम का अद्भुत मंदिर है। इस मंदिर को लेकर ऐसी कहानी है कि भगवान राम ने वनवास के दौरान इस स्थान पर चार महीने तक माता सीता और भगवान लक्ष्मण के साथ समय बिताया था। इसके अलावा माता सीता ने यहां पहली रसोई भी बनाई थी, उन्होंने खाना बनाने के बाद स्थानीय ऋषियों को भोजन कराया था। इस बात का वर्णन पद्मपुराण में भी किया गया है।

Maharajbagh zoo is the central zoo of Nagpur, India. The zoo is located in the heart of the city and has been built on the garden of the Bhonsle and Maratha rulers of the city. The zoo comes under the Central Zoo Authority (CZA) of India and is maintained by the Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth (PKV) of Nagpur.The zoo had come under scrutiny in 2006 for possible closure due to issues concerning animal healthcare but was cleared of all objections raised by CZA in 2007. The Government of Maharashtra has approved a new safari park of international standards next to Gorewada Lake in the city. Animals from Maharajbagh zoo would be moved to this new animal park but the older zoo will remain open for new animals

The Dragon Palace Temple, also known as the Lotus Temple of Nagpur, is a Buddhist temple in Kamptee, Maharashtra, India. The temple was established in 1999 with funds from the Japan-based Ogawa Society, a charitable trust.The temple complex encompassing the Dragon Palace houses a carved sandalwood idol that is associated with the Buddha, and the building is a pilgrimage site for practitioners of the faith.
The Dragon Palace Temple was founded in 1999 on land purchased by Sulekha Kumbhare and Noriko Ogawa. Kumbhare was at the time serving as the mayor of Kamptee, while Ogawa was the president of a Japanese company with business connections in the area. Ogawa was also the head of the Ogawa Foundation, a charitable trust that contributed to Buddhist charitable causes. The foundation envisioned the Dragon Palace Temple as both a place for Buddhist education and meditation, as well as a symbol of Indo-Japanese friendship.This original plot of 10 acres was expanded by 40 acres in 2003.
