Wonderful experiences in Halls Gap
Halls Gap has so many incredible experiences, I just want to mention a few of my very favourites. As a very long term residence (34 years) of this beautiful place, I have had the opportunity to enjoy so many of them. I want to ensure my guests experience only the very best of what Halls Gap and The Grampians has to offer.
This fabulous restaurant has been operating in Halls Gap for nearly forty years, and owned and operated by the same wonderful people. I highly recommend you put the Kookaburra Hotel on your to do list, and enjoy wholesome and delicious food, especially the spinach crepes and vegetarian salad. It is also just a mere 100 metres from your retreat. As it is so very popular, bookings are required. Please let me know, and I will reserve you the best table, in the house.

Absolutely fabulous. You do not need to take along children to enjoy this awesome experience. A few years ago, my dad wanted to see the meerkats, so off we went, just the two of us. We paid the extra to sit in with them and feed them. It was incredible. Highly recommend. Very reasonably priced, spotlessly clean and so very hands-on.

Fabulous range of activities to do in nature. They are all incredible. They also hire mountain bikes, which is a perfect way to explore this beautiful little village. I have maps in Icon Central Halls Gap compendium of some of the wonderful tracks I like to use.

I love this beautiful little vineyard. Pop out and sample some of their fine wines and enjoy the spectacular location. Just a ten minute drive from your retreat. You will find a bottle of their wine on your arrival at Icon Central Halls Gap.

Venus Baths is perfect for a short hour round trip. Especially if you a short on time or daylight, and it is only a five minute walk from Icon Central Halls Gap. Or if you are unable due to fitness to do the more extensive Grampians Walk. It is so beautiful and serene, as you make your way up into the mountains to the rock pools.

Venus Baths is perfect for a short hour round trip. Especially if you a short on time or daylight, and it is only a five minute walk from Icon Central Halls Gap. Or if you are unable due to fitness to do the more extensive Grampians Walk. It is so beautiful and serene, as you make your way up into the mountains to the rock pools.
This is my all time favourite walk. So stunning. Park at Wonderland Carpark and embark on a beautiful bushwalk, up the stairways to heaven, through Silent Street and right up to one of the most stunning look outs in The Grampians.

This place is an absolute must, if you would love to experience the utmost love and kindness, as you receive five star treatments and products. Amanda is one of the most beautiful souls, and she gives all her precious customers 110 per cent.

Hands down, this is the best Ice Creamery in the country. Make sure you call in and ask for Tracey’s favourite. Local handmade waffle cone with caramel fudge on the bottom and two scoops of white chocolate and raspberry ice cream and topped off with more caramel. This business is family owned and run by the nicest péople you will ever meet.
