Remember that house the Tenenbaum clan lived in on "Archer" avenue—and that Owen Wilson's character eventually rammed his car into? It's on 144th and Convent in Sugar Hill, and ended up being a pretty spectacular deal for the owner who, director Wes Anderson told New York Magazine, "got the house, ultimately, at no cost, because our fees for shooting there ended up being the equivalent of what he paid for it." Note to self: If we ever manage to snag a strange old house, remember to shop it around to location scouts ASAP.

Take the A Train... actually, you won't need to as you're staying in this Historically Designated (and tiny) neighborhood which can be walked in under an hour. See the Bailey Mansion, the Polo Grounds, the Royal Tenenbaum House, the city-landmarked 409 Edgecombe Ave which has homed W.E.B Dubois, Julius Bledsoe, Aaron Douglas, Walter Francis White, Roy Wilkins, Thurgood Marshall, I could go on.... and from there see views of the Yankee Stadium and the Bronx, (I can provide a guide)

The one place you will see group walking tours in this neighborhood (tag onto the back of one for all the historic info). Striver's Row has a checkered past, but it's architectural beauty can't be diminished. Run down and boarded up as recently as 2016, it has recently been rediscovered (read: purchased) by developers, which will no doubt mean it will soon be back to its Harlem Renaissance era costs to live here.

There's the BEST DOG PARK IN MANHATTAN, plus Alexander Hamilton's House, Playgrounds, Basketball Courts, free screenings and concerts in the Summer, great hills for sledging in the winter, the spectacular City College Campus sitting above it, and you can set up your own barbecue and throw a garden party without actually having a garden
