Sightseeing

Lake Monger Lake Monger is a beautiful lake reserve nearby. At the bottom of our street, just look left and you will see the lake not very far away. It is a beautiful place to visit at any time of day. There is a multiuse track around the lake for walking, running, cycling etc. You can stop off halfway around, at the Bowling Club, for coffee and Cake or take a picnic and enjoy the scenery.

Beautiful area by the river. There are actually many parks along the river foreshore. Take a picnic and sit on the grass.

City Beach is quite lovely, particularly in the morning. The main road west (Cambridge Street) is just up our street and will take you to the coast (City Beach) in about 15 minutes. From City Beach you can drive the scenic coast road south to Fremantle or north to Joondalup.

Déplacements

Easy Train to the City

The Leederville train station is just a 7 minute walk away. Trains to the city run every 5 minutes in normal times, such that from leaving home, to standing in the main Perth mall, takes about 15 minutes. At the Perth station, you can change trains to any other line. Tickets are purchased from the ticket machine on the station platform and coins or cards can be used. If you are using the trains more than a few times, it would be convenient to get a ‘Smart Rider’ card from the Perth central station. This allows you to charge your card and then easily swipe on/swipe off for your train trips.
Déplacements

Driving Around

If you have a car then great. This location doesn’t get much better for access to anywhere around Perth. Just past the bottom of our street is freeway access to the north (Mitchell Fwy) and to the south (Kwinana Fwy). The south freeway also leads off to the east freeway (Graham Farmer Fwy) such that you can be nearly anywhere in a short time. The main road west (Cambridge Street) is just up our street and will take you to the coast (City Beach) in about 15 minutes. From City Beach you can drive the scenic coast road south to Fremantle or north to Joondalup. Take Graham Farmer Fwy east to Hills
Déplacements

Bus

A free ‘CAT’ bus service runs from the Leederville train station into the city, but of course is slower than the train service. Local government buses run from other stops around the area.
