Beautiful ocean pool which is a local treasure. There is a great walk with lots of parks. Perfect spot for whale watching mid June- July. There is a cafe called “pool cafe Maroubra” opposite the park that does delicious food with a great view. There is also plenty of parking.

This is a place not many people know about. It’s a walk and cycle way along Botany foreshore. There is a lookout that’s make out of an old Bow of a boat. Great spot to watch planes land and take off from Kingsford Smith Airport.

It’s where captain cook sailed in to discover Australia. Easy to get to by car it’s off the tourist circuit.

Standfield park (GATED) Church avenue also has a cafe. Sydney Park, Euston Road - *Huge*park. Sir Joseph Banks Tupia St- *Huge* park. Mascot Memorial park Coward st. Jack Mundey, Longwirth avenue. Aldi at “the cannery” is 950m. There is also an older centre called “east lakes shopping centre” that have a Woolworths, Aldi, butcher and a few other small stores but it is about to be renovated it’s really run down 1.1k. Woolworths mascot opposite mascot train station 1.4K. There is Mascot shops on botany road around the corner which is a town strip of many shops that include newsagent, beauty salon, banks, IGA, butcher etc. Eastgarden shopping centre also has all food / grocery and a shopping mall with cinema. 3.5k
