One of the best churrascaria (barbecue shop) in town. Eat as you can. You better be hungry. I'd say do not help yourself in the buffet or you'll be easily trapped by those amazing, tasteful options.

This one is far. Very simple. Very cheap. To reach the restaurant you need to drive around a looong way, or take a BRL 1 boat trip from the harbour in front of Sorveteria da Ribeira to Plataforma. From there, it's a short walk (to the right). The boat trip t is well worth it. I'd say you should have lunch in Boca de Galinha and dessert in Sorveteria da Ribeira. Make sure you'll get in Boca de Galinha by 11:30am or you'll wait until 3pm to have a seat.

Not cheap. At all. But everything is organic here. And picked in their own garden by the agronomist-chef. By the way, the only chef with a Le Cordon Bleu certification in Brazil they say.

Not the best acarajé anymore, but definitely a good option. And a pleasant area to chat over a beer.
